Why zload.dev?

Hi! I'm an independent student developer. While working on my own projects, I constantly faced a dilemma: pay $100+ for the convenience of modern PaaS (like Vercel or Heroku) or spend hours manually configuring a raw €5 server on Hetzner. I decided we deserve both — a premium deployment experience on affordable hardware.

Transparent Architecture (Open-Core)

Since this service interacts with your infrastructure, trust is everything. zload.dev is built on the principle of separation of concerns:

• zload Dashboard (Closed-source): A cloud backend and interface that orchestrates processes and manages GitHub Actions. This is the commercial part that allows the project to grow and thrive.

  
  

• zload-agent (Will be Open-source): A lightweight client installed on your Hetzner server. It executes deployment commands and manages Traefik.

Current Status: Building in Public

The project is currently in the active coding and private alpha testing phase. The agent's code (zload-agent) will be published openly on GitHub just before the Private Beta release. This ensures you can audit every line of code before installing it on your server.
